Nowadays education plays a significant role in our lives. Nevertheless, there is another point of view that explains unimportance of education. So, in my essay I want to discuss various opinions about the role of education in the modern world.
First of all, I want to express my opinion. I consider that people can have their intelligent interests and preferences and so, they can develop them with the help of getting an education. They get knowledge in the area which is interesting for them and subsequently, become various specialists. In this case, education helps not only develop some of your skills and interests, but also to get an excellent job and earn much money. Usually, the more professional, the more money you earn. So, value of education is colossal, and it really improves the quality of our lives.
However, there can be other peoples’ opinions. Firstly, nowadays education is very expensive and, surely, not everyone can afford it. Sometimes studying at a good and prestigious university costs more than people can earn for several years. Unfortunately, nowadays prices for education increase more and more, but peoples’ salaries do not. Some students prefer working after finishing school, earn money and do not waste time on studying at university. Good education usually takes minimum five years, and if you want to be a genuine specialist, you should take a degree of master and it takes several years more. So, many people say that they are not ready to waste such a big period of their lives and start working somewhere, where education is not so important.
Secondly, today there are many other ways to earn much money, for instance, the Internet is not only a source of any information , but also the way of earning funds. You can start working as a blogger, publish some useful videos and attract the subscribers and so on. You can also do bets on sports in the Internet. The main important thing in this case is your desire. If a person wants to earn money, but he has not a possibility to get a good education, he has a possibility to get wages in the Internet.
In conclusion, I would like to say that education gives us knowledge around the world and enlighten us many important things. It also develops in us a perspective of looking at life.
